Siggi Frede

Siggi is the principal consultant and owner of Effektiver, a boutique strategic tourism consultancy. As a native German and global citizen, simply loves South Australia. She works with local and state government and peak industry associations to develop strategic tourism plans, marketing plans, and build industry capability programs to enable tourism businesses to endure and succeed in South Australia’s visitor economy. With an MBA and over 25 years in management experience at airlines, tourism marketing firms, the South Australian Tourism Commission and as an independent consultant, her expertise ranges from strategy and business planning, product development, experience design to all functions of domestic and international marketing with a strong foundation in stakeholder engagement. She has been a trainer in TiCSA’s Service and Tourism IQ programs for over three years and been elected to the TiCSA Board late 2018. She is also contracted as a part-time lecturer at the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) where, over the past four years, she has developed and delivered courses on Business Strategy, Digital Marketing, Brand Management and Customer Relationship Management in the Bachelor and Master programs.
